On Main Street for Over Fifty Years

The Outfitter came into being in 1972 when owner Nolan Rowe renamed the gun shop. In 1978, Andy and Mary D Bowman bought the store and developed the store’s trademark reputation of selling quality goods with great service for the next twenty-three years. In 1982, the store moved into what had been the Lyric Theater. 

In 2001, the Baker family took over the reins of the store, and in 2006 Josh and Molly Baker moved home and bought the store keeping the tradition alive.
