M's Firefall™ Insulated Jacket
Description
Men's Firefall™ Insulated Jacket
The Mountain Hardwear Men's Firefall™ Insulated Jacket is engineered for serious resort skiing and snowboarding, delivering waterproof warmth and technical performance whether you're charging through fresh powder or carving groomers on a clear-sky day. Built for pipe, park, and peak, this insulated ski jacket is a versatile, high-performance layer designed to keep you warm and dry from first chair to last run.
At its core, the Firefall™ features a 2-layer waterproof Dry.Q® 150D Textured Weave fabric constructed from 100% Polyester, offering reliable breathable weather protection in demanding conditions. Mapped synthetic insulation provides strategic warmth where you need it most — 80g at the body and sleeves and a lighter 60g at the hood and underarms — optimizing heat retention without sacrificing mobility or breathability.
Practical, mountain-ready details are built throughout the jacket's design. Underarm zip vents with mesh backing allow heat to escape while blocking snow intrusion, and an internal powder skirt with jacket-to-pant integration seals out the elements on deep days. The helmet-compatible hood features three-way drawcord adjustment for a secure, customized fit, while hook-and-loop adjustable cuffs and dual lower hem adjusters help lock in warmth at every opening.
The Firefall™ Insulated Jacket weighs approximately 2 lb 0.5 oz (920 g) and measures 31 inches at the center back length, offering a full-coverage fit suited to active resort use. The interior is lined with a smooth 20D Nylon Taffeta (100% Nylon) for comfortable layering over base and mid layers.
