The Mountain Hardwear Women's Butter Up™ Tight is a high-performance base layer built for athletes and adventurers who demand versatility without sacrificing comfort. Engineered for use from high alpine trails to the climbing gym, this tight delivers a buttery-soft, next-to-skin feel that moves with you through every stride, step, and stretch.

Constructed from a Brushed Jersey Knit fabric blend of 85% Polyester and 15% Elastane, the Butter Up™ Tight offers an exceptional combination of stretch, softness, and durability. With a fabric weight of approximately 260 g/m² (7.67 oz/yd²), it provides just the right amount of warmth and coverage as a standalone tight or as a foundational layer beneath a shell during winter camping, skiing, snowboarding, ice climbing, and backcountry expeditions.

The UPF 50 fabric provides reliable protection against harsh UV rays, making it equally capable on sun-exposed ridgelines and open alpine terrain. Anti-odor and moisture-wicking properties help regulate comfort during high-output activities, keeping you dry and fresh across long days in the field. A slim, layering-friendly fit ensures a clean, low-bulk profile under outerwear without restricting freedom of movement.
