Combining superior high-loft warmth with an ultrapackable design, this mid-thigh-length parka is built to perform in the harshest cold-weather conditions while remaining lightweight enough to pack away with ease. The shell and lining are crafted from 1.1-oz 20-denier Pertex® Quantum 100% recycled nylon ripstop — soft to the touch yet highly durable — and treated with a durable water repellent (DWR) finish made without intentionally added PFAS, offering reliable weather protection with a reduced environmental footprint. The insulation consists of 800-fill-power 100% Responsible Down Standard (RDS) certified down (Control Union CU 880272), ensuring traceable, ethical sourcing alongside outstanding thermal performance.
Designed with a regular fit that lands at mid-thigh, the Fitz Roy Down Parka features an interior adjustable drawcord at the waist for a customizable silhouette. A three-piece hood with a zip-through, high-loft draft collar and drawcord adjustments at the neck yoke locks in warmth around the head and neck. Set-in sleeves with soft, elasticized cuff stitching seal out cold air, while a two-way center-front zipper backed by an internal storm flap ensures wind and cold stay where they belong — outside.
Made in a Fair Trade Certified™ factory in Vietnam, this parka supports the workers who crafted it through fair labor premiums. Care is simple: machine wash cold and tumble dry low (ideally with two tennis balls to restore loft).
